Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania's third largest national park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Elephant herds are exceptionally active here, and you may also encounter lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and over 550 bird species.

Tarangire to Ngorongoro Crater and Departure
Leave early in the morning from Tarangire and drive to the Ngorongoro Crater. When you arrive, descend into the crater floor and spend several hours searching for wildlife — lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, and sometimes the rare black rhino. The crater's walls make it easier to spot all of Africa's iconic species in one place. After your game drive, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha for your departure.
